Also, the name of the book I mentioned in the message this morning is: "S.H.A.P.E.
- Finding & Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose For Life" - by Erik Rees (publisher:
Zondervan). I want you to know, that while I recommend a number of his
insights, I disagree with his "faith only / pray Jesus into your heart for
salvation" stance - I think you'll agree that in the sermon this morning we
discussed the importance of baptism in this process of new birth. But the book
still has a lot of good material that you may find interesting and helpful (and
it would be foolish to disregard it altogether).
Finally, thanks so much for your kind words, prayers on my behalf, and your
desire to dig deep each week...it energizes me in my preparation and it means a
lot.
